Gucci, the Italian fashion label is one of the most popular luxury brands. Gucci has a culture that reflects its brand with an emphasis on quality and originality. The company was founded in 1921 by Guccio Gucci after he left his position as head designer at Valentino to form his own company, which would eventually become known as Gucci.

Guccio opened a small leather goods shop in Florence, Italy that catered to English tourists and the Florentine elite. The company grew steadily through Europe and North America by focusing on quality workmanship, originality of design, distinctive style, and competitive prices.

Chanel Paris, the 100-year-old luxury fabric and clothing company that opened in 1909, is now a multi-billion dollar company that operates designer fashion and beauty lines. The company has been managed under family control since its founding more than 100 years ago.

In 1837, Charles Lewis Tiffany and John B. Young founded the company which was then called T.& C. Young; but in 1853 it officially became “Tiffany & Company.” The store first opened on September 15th at 259 Broadway with a large window display of silk scarves to lure passersby inside – and it worked.

The store’s iconic symbol, the Tiffany Blue Box, was created in 1845 by Scottish immigrant Charles Moore who won a competition to design a new packaging for the company’s luxury jewelry and watches. The blue color came from combining New York City’s police uniforms with Prussian Royalty colors but the final decision of copper-pink was made by a store window designer.

The Tiffany Blue Box became the world’s first trademarked package in 1851 and is still used today as an iconic symbol of luxury.
